![]() To be a part of a successful program that reaches deep into the community and embraces the values and characteristics of a champion. My personal coaching philosophy starts with me understanding my own passion and beliefs as to why I choose to coach. I believe coaching any sport is ALWAYS more than the sport itself. The sport's forum allows for an experience that is like no other experience, and one which can’t be duplicated in any classroom, social setting or work environment. In conjunction with teaching the skills of the game and the love for competition, an elevated focus is placed on the “Characteristics of a Champion” as quoted from my friend and mentor, Bruce Brown. Emphasis is placed on enthusiasm. listening, focus and concentration, selflessness, accountability, consistency, work habits, discipline, sportsmanship, determination, teachable spirit, confidence, pride, integrity, and mental toughness. It’s not merely the destination, but the journey that defines success within our program and I am grateful to be able to do what I truly love to do, COACH! Sparky Parker - Manager
